Visual Art study contains theory and practice studies, through a range of mediums and techniques, students are to be trained in creating visual artworks, such as painting and drawing, photography, printmaking, 3D sculpture, and installation art, etc. In addition to the core subjects, inter-disciplinary fields of study as elective courses are also available for students to explore, including advertising, multimedia design software application, workshop practice on industrial design material and processes, etc. The study equips students well to contribute to creative industries such as Industrial Design studios or art-related companies. Those keen to further their study to degree level can enrol in homegrown degree programmes, Bachelor of Design (Honours) Computer Graphic Design or Bachelor in Industrial Design (Honours).

Entry Requirement
SPM/ O-Level: With a minimum of 3 credits AND pass an interview OR submission of portfolio determined by the HEP as required
UEC: With a minimum of 3 credits AND pass an interview OR submission of portfolio determined by the HEP as required
Certificate: A certificate or its equivalent in a related field at least CGPA 2.0 AND pass an interview OR submission of portfolio determined by the HEP as required
Others: Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
English Competency requirement for International Student: A minimum score of High Band 2 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) or equivalent
