Course Duration: 3 Years
Industrial Design is a programme aims to inculcate professional knowledge of designing and developing product concept using by people around the world. Students not only focus on appearance of a product, but also optimise the functions, user experiences, values and the overall systems of the products for the mutual benefit of both user and manufacturer.
Students’ abilities to transfer consumer needs, market needs and problems into designs will be the pinnacle focus of this programme, able to develop the idea to invent, visualize and prototyping. Throughout programme study, student make use of their contemporary knowledge the contemporary practice and undertake practical design. Students will be developing communication skills as well as entrepreneurial skills in realising their concept design into reality.

Entry Requirement
- UEC: With a minimum of 5 credits AND pass an interview OR submission of portfolio determined by the HEP as required
- STPM: With a minimum of CGPA 2.00 and a minimum of Grade C (SGP 2.00) in any 2 subjects AND pass an interview OR submission of portfolio determined by the HEP as required
- A-Level: With a minimum of CGPA 2.00 and at least a full pass in any 2 subjects AND pass an interview OR submission of portfolio determined by the HEP as required
- Foundation/ Matriculation: With a minimum of CGPA 2.00 AND pass an interview OR submission of portfolio determined by the HEP as required
- Diploma/ Advanced Diploma: With a minimum of CGPA 2.00 AND pass an interview OR submission of portfolio determined by the HEP as required
- Others: ATAR is 65 and a minimum of scaled score 50 in any 2 subjects OR Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government AND pass an interview OR submission of portfolio determined by the HEP as required
- English Competency requirement for International Student: A minimum score of High Band 3 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) or equivalent
