✨ Zhejiang Institute of Administration Visit Southern University College — Exploring a New Chapter of Collaboration ✨

On 3 December 2025, a high-level delegation from the Zhejiang Institute of Administration visited Southern University College for an official academic exchange. The delegation was led by Professor Liu Jinqiang, Vice President who was accompanied by senior representatives. Southern UC warmly welcomed the delegation with the presence of two Vice Presidents, Asst. Prof. Ts. Dr. Teo Pei Kian and Asst. Prof. Dr. Chua Yee Chi, and the teams from the International Student Office and Institute of Graduate Studies & Research.

The meeting was conducted in a cordial and productive atmosphere, with both institutions demonstrating strong alignment in their vision and directions for collaboration. Discussions covered a wide range of meaningful and forward-looking cooperation areas, including:

Throughout the visit, Southern UC’s leadership shared the university’s educational philosophy, academic strengths, and internationalisation strategy, while also highlighting the this year 50th Anniversary milestone. Both institutions agreed that this significant moment presents an ideal opportunity to deepen China–Malaysia educational collaboration and expand academic partnerships.

The Zhejiang Institute of Administration delegation expressed high appreciation for Southern UC’s advancing a new chapter of International Collaboration and showed strong interest in further cooperation in public administration education, talent development, and cross-border academic exchange.

This visit not only strengthened mutual trust between the two institutions but also laid a solid foundation for broader and more sustainable collaboration. Southern University College looks forward to working closely with the Zhejiang Institute of Administration to elevate China–Malaysia educational exchange to new heights and co-create a far-reaching chapter of partnership.

Southern UC Continues Advancing Toward Global Partnerships

浙江行政学院高层代表团于2025年12月3日莅临南方大学学院开展访问交流。代表团由该院副院长刘进强教授亲率高层团队来访，高层团队有学员工作部主任徐亮、离退休工作处处长叶菁、政治学教研部主任顾金喜、信息管理部主任兼高级工程师戴建华，以及党史党建教研部副主任成为杰。双方围绕多领域学术交流与专业合作，开启双方首次正式而深度的研商。我校由两位副校长、赵佩娟助理教授、蔡瑜琦助理教授，以及国际教育中心与研究生院团队全程悉心接待与陪同。

此次会晤气氛融洽、成果丰硕，双方在合作愿景与推进方向上高度契合，并就多项潜在合作领域展开了深入而富前瞻性的讨论，主要包括：

学历提升与继续教育合作。

双方商议以更具弹性的升学通道和跨区域学习平台，为两校师生提供继续深造与专业进修的多元路径。拟倡议推动师生与管理人员之间展开短期互访、课程观摩、专题讲座及学术研修，以进一步丰富教学互动、促进专业成长。

客座教授互聘与学术交流

拟推动双方专家学者的定期互访与聘任，并开展专题讲座、短期授课及培训项目，以深化教育理念互鉴，提升教学与科研水准，推动学术资源与专业经验的广泛共享。

学生研修与短期交流计划

双方拟共同搭建跨文化学习平台，拓展学生在公共管理、行政管理等领域的国际视野，增强其实务能力。两校亦将鼓励与支持学生参与短期研修、课程体验及多层次交流项目，全面提升人才培养的国际化品质。

联合研究项目与智库合作

双方拟在治理体系、公共政策、区域发展等重点议题开展协同研究，并探讨互换教材、学术资料及数据库资源，实现教学与科研资源的双向共享。未来亦将积极推动联合申报研究项目、共同发表学术成果及轮值主办国际学术研讨会，进一步强化双方科研与智库平台的互补优势。

中心设立与长效合作机制探讨

双方初步讨论未来设立合作中心或培训基地，以形成可持续、制度化、具延展性的合作框架，为长期协作奠定稳固基础。

交流过程中，我校领导亦向来宾介绍南方大学学院的办学理念、学科特色及国际化战略布局，并分享学校今年迈入建校50周年的重大里程碑。双方一致认为，此一关键节点正是深化中马教育协作、拓宽国际学术交流的珍贵契机。

浙江行政学院代表团对南方大学学院“迈向国际合作新篇章”的发展愿景高度赞赏，并对双方在公共管理、人才培养与跨国学术合作等领域的潜在发展空间表达了浓厚的兴趣。

此次访问不仅进一步巩固了两校之间的互信基础，也为未来合作擘画出更为宽广而稳健的蓝图。南方大学学院期待与浙江行政学院携手同行，共同推动中马教育交流迈向新高度，谱写更宽广、更深远的合作新篇章。
