新加坡《联合早报》日前与南方大学学院合办校园巡回交流会「媒体与时代」，邀请该报总编辑吴新迪、国际新闻采访主任吴汉钧，以及南方大学学院文物艺术馆馆长陈再藩展开一场深入对谈，吸引众多师生参与。 吴新迪在分享中指出，传统媒体正面对新兴自媒体带来的强大冲击，读者获取信息的管道与习惯也已大幅改变。然而，他强调，尽管人工智能（AI）迅速发展，传统媒体不会因此被淘汰，反而更需坚守新闻价值与专业素养。他也指出：「媒体中唯一不变的，就是变化本身」，媒体本质上就是拥抱各种变化，才能在时代的巨流中生存下来。 吴汉钧则分享了《联合早报》在国际新闻报导上的策略，特别强调马来西亚对于早报的重要性。柔新经济特区的重点项目发展，突显马来西亚与新加坡之间的密切关系。他透露，目前报社在马来西亚设有特派记者，持续追踪并深入报导大马，确保新加坡与国际读者获得全面且实时的新闻内容。 此次座谈会不仅让学生深入了解媒体业的现况与未来，也促进大學与媒体专业之间的交流与合作。
