Lecturers from the Faculty of Business and Management at Southern University College (Johor Bahru) attended TransformED 2025 at Monash University Malaysia, held at Hilton Petaling Jaya on 27 November 2025. The team of 6 lecturers from various programmes took the opportunity to actively engage in continuous learning. — through workshops, masterclasses, and networking.
The conference also included industry-relevant insights to stay abreast of current challenges through the panel discussions and presentations.
Ms Sangita and Ms Adibah from the Accounts and Finance programme had fun exploring emerging trends, while Ms Renu who heads the Logistics programme had the chance to reconnect with peers. Discovering new ways to enhance student engagement was the highlight for Ms Uma from the Business Administration programme. From the Marketing programme, Ms Akila collected some fresh pedagogical approaches.
The faculty’s Dean, Dr Joann Lim, is enthusiastic and looks forward to participating at more of such energising platforms for innovative teaching and learning, where passion for continuous professional growth affirms the important role of lifelong learning in higher education.
It is hoped that such collaboration across institutions strengthens the entire education ecosystem, as future partnerships takes shape.
来自南方大学学院，企业与管理学院的讲师于2025年11月27日，在八打灵再也希尔顿酒店出席了由马来西亚蒙纳士大学举办的TransformED 2025研讨会。来自不同课程的6位讲师组团，积极参与工作坊、大师班以及交流活动，并把握持续学习的机会。
研讨会还包括与行业相关的洞察，通过专题讨论和演讲，帮助参与者掌握当前挑战。
来自会计与金融课程的Sangita讲师和Adibah讲师，在探索新兴趋势时收获颇丰，而物流课程负责人Renugala高级讲师，则有机会与同行建立良好联系。工商管理课程的Uma讲师也在活动中，发现提升学生参与度的新方法；而来自市场营销课程的Akila讲师则收获了一些新的教学方法。
学院院长Joann Lim博士对此充满热情，并期待未来能参与更多类似富有活力的平台，以推动创新教学与学习，在持续专业成长的热忱中，进一步肯定终身学习在高等教育中的重要角色。
希望这样的跨院校合作能够强化整个教育生态系统，并促成未来的伙伴关系。
