On 21 November 2025, Southern University College was honored to host a meaningful discussion with representatives from United Chinese School Committees’ Association of Malaysia (Dong Zong), focusing on advancing Chinese education and exploring the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in nurturing talent at primary and secondary Chinese schools.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Chuah Joon Huang, President of Southern University College and attended by our esteemed Board members, Vice Presidents, and Directors. They engaged in a constructive discussion with Dong Zong representatives including Chairman Datuk Tan Yew Sing, Vice Chairman and other senior committee members.
The discussion focused on innovative approaches to strengthening Chinese education and the potential integration of AI technologies to enhance teaching, learning, and talent development across Chinese primary and secondary schools.
This engagement marks a significant step forward in fostering strategic educational partnerships and cultivating the next generation of skilled learners.
南方大学学院与董总展开交流会议 共促华教发展
2025年11月21日，南方大学学院荣幸接待了马来西亚华校董事联合会（董总）代表团莅访交流，围绕推动华文教育发展及探讨人工智能在华小及中学人才培育中的应用进行了交流。
此次会议由南方大学学院校长蔡润煌教授主持，董理事会成员、副校长及校领导出席，并与董总代表团进行了建设性讨论。董总代表团成员包括主席拿督陈友信、副主席杨才国先生、中央委员吴令富先生、中央委员高级拿督徐来兴、中央委员李佳胜先生及秘书室主任江伟俊先生。
双方重点探讨了提升华文教育的创新方法，以及将人工智能技术融入教学与人才培养的潜力，以进一步推动华小及中学的教学质量和学生发展。
此次交流是双方在教育与人才培养方面迈出的重要一步，为培养下一代优秀人才奠定坚实基础。
