Southern University College supported National STEM Association for STEM Synergy & Mini Theater Showcase

Southern University College was proud to serve as a strategic partner for the “STEM Synergy & Mini Theater Showcase” organized by National STEM Association (NSA) in collaboration with Perbadanan Perpustakaan Awam Johor (PPAJ) on 4–5 November 2025.

The two-day event held at Dato’ Seri Joseph Chong Hall, Southern University College, brought together secondary school students, educators, and STEM enthusiasts to inspire creativity, innovation, and practical STEM skills, especially among students from B40 communities. Activities included mini theater STEM performances, innovation product exhibitions, and networking opportunities to showcase students’ problem-solving and entrepreneurial potential.

The event was graced by Prof. Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Noraini binti Idris, President and Founder of NSA, and Yang Berhormat Tuan Aznan bin Tamin, Johor State Committee Chairman for Education and Information, adding prestige to this event. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Chuah Joon Huang, President of Southern University College also attended both opening and closing ceremonies as well as engaging with students and encouraging them to explore innovation with confidence.

南方大学学院荣幸作为战略合作伙伴，支持国家STEM协会（NSA）与柔佛公共图书馆公司（PPAJ）联合主办的“STEM与迷你剧场展示”活动。活动于11月4日至5日在南方大学学院智雅大礼堂顺利举行，汇聚中学生、教育工作者及STEM爱好者，通过迷你剧场表演、创新产品展览及互动交流，激发学生创造力、创新能力及实践STEM技能，尤其B40群体的学生。

此次活动盛况空前，由国家STEM协会主席 Prof. Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Noraini binti Idris 筹办邀请了柔佛州教育与宣传委员会主席 Yang Berhormat Tuan Aznan bin Tamin 出席活动，为活动增光添彩。南方大学学院校长蔡润煌教授亦出席开幕及闭幕典礼，与参赛学生互动交流，鼓励他们勇于探索创新。
