Southern University College and Macross Consultancy (M) Sdn. Bhd.: A New Chapter of Strategic Collaboration

Southern University College and Macross Consultancy (M) Sdn. Bhd. signed Memorandum of Understanding during the launch of the Macross Entrepreneurs Academy on 23 November 2025. The MoU was formally signed by Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Chuah Joon Huang, President of Southern University College together with Miss Serene Song, Director of Macross Consultancy (M) Sdn. Bhd.

This collaboration marks an important milestone in Southern UC’s commitment to nurturing future-ready talents and expanding student development for JS-SEZ talent pipelines. Through this partnership, Southern UC and Macross Consultancy (M) Sdn. Bhd. will co-develop initiatives that strengthen students’ competencies and SME-focused innovations.

During the ceremony, Mr. Jason Cheng, Director of Macross Consultancy (M) Sdn. Bhd. delivered an insightful presentation on the company’s extensive experiences and its commitment to supporting SME development. His briefing provided a clear understanding of how Macross’s industry expertise and entrepreneurship ecosystem can support talent development and applied learning.

Moving forward through this partnership, Southern UC and Macross Consultancy (M) Sdn. Bhd. will collaborate on industry workshops, AI-driven projects, talent development programmes, and internship pathways. These initiatives will enhance students’ practical exposure and and strengthening Southern UC’s mission to cultivate future-ready industry-recognized talents.
