Southern University College has officially embarked on a new milestone in artificial intelligence education! 
The AI Development Signing Ceremony marked the launch of “Southern AI Year 2026”, reflecting the University’s strong commitment to AI education, research, and industry collaboration.
Strategic partnerships were established with leading organizations including MaiStorage, ULearning, Infinite Loop Multimedia, BTG Academy, covering AI laboratories, equipment procurement, academic programmes, professional certification, design collaboration, and talent incubation.
Two AI laboratories are expected to be completed by July, with AI-related courses launching concurrently to provide students with cutting-edge learning experiences.
With the collective support of the Board, university leadership, alumni, and industry partners, Southern University College continues its journey towards becoming an internationally recognized AI Centre of Excellence.

南方大学学院正式迈入人工智能教育新纪元！
校方于日前举办人工智能发展签约仪式，并隆重宣布启动 “2026 南方AI元年”，标志着南方在AI教育、科研与产学合作方面迈出关键一步。
本次仪式汇聚多家国内外知名企业与机构，包括 MaiStorage、ULearning、Infinite Loop Multimedia、 BTG Academy 等，合作内容涵盖AI实验室建设、设备采购、课程与认证、设计与人才孵化合作。
校方预计两间人工智能实验室将于今年7月前落成，相关AI课程亦将同步启动，为师生打造前瞻性的学习与实践平台。
在董事会、校方团队、校友与业界伙伴的共同支持下，南方大学学院将持续推动AI驱动教学、智慧校园、科研创新与社会服务，朝向具国际认可的人工智能卓越中心稳步前进。
