The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHSS) hosted an exciting team-building event in September 2024, bringing together members from its five departments: Education, Psychology and Counselling, Languages, Journalism and Mass Communication and General Studies.
The primary objective was to strengthen relationships, foster collaboration, and enhance morale among staff and faculty. This event provided an opportunity for members to work together, emphasizing teamwork, communication, and collective problem-solving.
Activities included icebreaker games to help participants connect, group challenges that required strategic thinking and collaboration, and interactive workshops focusing on leadership, communication, and resilience. The day concluded with a reflection session, where participants shared insights and highlighted their growth, followed by recreational fun with music, food, and friendly competitions to celebrate the success of the event.
The event successfully built stronger relationships across departments, improved understanding of individual roles within the faculty’s vision, and inspired practical approaches to teamwork and trust. Participants expressed their appreciation, noting the meaningful and enjoyable experiences. 人文与社会学院（FHSS）于二零二四年九月举办了一场令人兴奋的团建活动。此活动汇聚了来自五个科系的成员，那就是教育系、心理学和咨询系、语言系、新闻与传播系以及通识教育系。
此团建活动的主要目的是为了加强各个部门之间的关系、促进合作、并提升教职员的士气。此次活动也为各个科系的成员们提供了共同合作的机会、加强团队合作、沟通以及共同解决问题。
此团建活动举办了破冰活动以此来帮助参与者建立关系，挑战各个小组的战略思维与合作精神以及以领导力、沟通与应变能力为重点的互动式研讨会。当天的活动也包括了反思会。参与者们互相分享各自的见解，并总结了个人的成长。接下来，大家享受了有音乐，美食，和友谊比赛的娱乐时光，以此来庆祝此次活动的成功。
