On 16 December 2025, the IEM-SUC Student Section proudly organized and hosted the Singapore Polytechnic (SP) – Southern University College (SUC) Student Cultural Exchange Programme.
We were delighted to welcome the delegation from Singapore Polytechnic, accompanied by the representative from Millet Group. It was a memorable day of cross-border learning and connection!
We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to everyone who made this event a resounding success:
Guest of Honor: A heartfelt thank you to SUC President, Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Chuah Joon Huang for officiating the event with an inspiring opening speech, and to Prof. Dr. Hishamuddin Bin Jamaluddin for gracing us with his presence.
Technical Seminar: Special thanks to Ir. Ts. Tan Suh Yong for delivering the insightful talk on “Industry Expectations for Today’s Engineering Graduates”.
RobotX Arena: We also express our gratitude to Ir. Dr. Vasanthan Maruthapillai for his guidance during the RobotX Arena session, adding an exciting technical interaction to the event!
Campus Tour & Appreciation: We are also grateful to the teachers from the Faculty of Chinese Medicine (FCM) for their amazing cooperation. It was a wonderful experience for our guests to visit the FCM Laboratories and the Library at the TCM Building.
