⏰“Echoes of Dream” Student Cultural Performance Staged Warmly🥁

Organised by the Student Cultural Performance Organising Committee of Southern University College, the student cultural performance Echoes of Dream was warmly staged on Wednesday, 14 January 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in Southern University College Main Hall. Presented as a stage drama, the performance depicted contemporary university students navigating conflicts and choices in academics, family, and friendships. Its compact yet heartfelt storyline encouraged audiences to reflect on the importance of communication, understanding, and cherishing relationships, with the hope that even fifty years from now, one can look back without regret.

The event was officially opened by Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Chuah Joon Huang, President of Southern University College. He highly commended the dedication of the organising committee, performing students, and behind-the-scenes staff, and noted that students’ engagement in artistic creation alongside their studies represents a valuable journey of personal growth. The performance not only reflected the realities of youth and personal development but also embodied the spirit of holistic education. 由南方大学学院学生文艺大汇演筹委会主办的《时光之约》学生文艺大汇演，于2026年1月14日（星期三）晚上6时30分，在南方大学学院智雅大礼堂温馨上演。演出以舞台剧情形式呈现，描绘当代大学生在课业、亲情与友情之间所面对的矛盾与抉择。紧凑而真挚的剧情，引领观众反思沟通、理解与珍惜的重要性，并期许在半世纪后的回首中，仍能不后悔当年的选择。

大会特别邀请南方大学学院校长蔡润煌教授主持开幕。蔡校长表示高度肯定筹委会成员、参演学生及幕后工作人员的付出，同时指出学生在学业之余投入艺术创作，是一份宝贵的成长经历。演出不仅展现青春与成长的真实写照，也体现全人发展的精神。蔡校长希望观众在演出中找到共鸣，珍藏这段温暖而闪亮的青春记忆。
