The Diploma in Journalism programme prepares students for career in media-related industries. The programme lays equal emphasis on theories and practice. Students are exposed to the latest journalistic and media developments, and are trained to be sensitive and critical to domestic and overseas current affairs. Entry Requirement

i. A pass in SPM/O-Level with minimum 3 credits including English; or
ii. UEC with at least Grade B in 3 subjects including English; or
iii. A pass in STPM or its equivalent, with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject and a credit in English at SPM; or
iv. A pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Maqbul and a credit in English at SPM or its equivalent; or
v. A pass in SKM level 3 and pass SPM with a credit in English; or
vi. A Certificate in related field and a credit in English at SPM or its equivalent; or
vii. A Certificate in Media and Communication or its equivalent.

Note:
The requirement of an English credit in SPM for candidates (ii), (iii), (iv), (v) and (vi) may be excluded if their certificate/document presents an English qualification equivalent to or above the SPM credit in English.
