Department of Journalism and Communication

This programme aims to equip students with knowledge and skills that enable them to embark on a successful career in the field of Mass Communication and Media. Students should be able to apply the methods and techniques that they have learned in order to review, consolidate, extend and apply their knowledge and understanding, to initiate and carry out projects; and to have the qualities and transferable skills necessary for their future employment. Students must be trained with hands-on practical experiences in doing media projects to understanding media effects on daily life by studying the form, operation, roles and the influence of the 21st-century mass media.
