南方大学学院文物与艺术馆于10月10日这个寓意“十全十美”的日子举办【水墨寻美·韩彪水墨个展】，同时也为南方大学学院50周年校庆献上一幅取名《丰收》的画作作为献礼。 水墨画家韩彪暌违10年，此次展出精选系列包括《水墨诗韵》、《情绘胶林》、《太平雨树》和《自然寻美》四大主题的60件作品。上述画展由本校董事长拿督陈洺臣主持开幕，作品将展至本月31日（周一至周五）早上10时至下午4时。另外，12日早上也举办一场【水墨寻美在南方】交流会，由本校艺术与设计学院视觉艺术系；教育专员骆孝源讲师主持，活动吸引艺术界人士参与现场创作交流。 董事长拿督陈洺臣在开幕词中表示，韩彪是我国非常资深和具影响力的艺术家，几十年来一直在艺术创作和教育领域默默耕耘并不断探索突破的结晶。 他说，南方大学学院希望成为文化艺术教育的园地，也相信艺术教育不只是培养审美观，更是打开心灵、启发思维的重要途径，并且能丰富校园的艺术气息，更让师生有机会走进艺术。 韩彪在致词时说，华人文化必须要传承下去，而水墨画是中华文化里面重要的一环，他会抱着热忱继续他的水墨画创作，以及传承水墨画的工作。 他在1984年便开始负责水墨画的指导工作，至今依然还在继续，他颇为欣赏中华文化的精髓，并将水墨画当作终身的事业来传承。 馆长陳再藩致词时表示，韩彪与马来西亚有关的植物作品拥有非常强大的气场与生命力，并赞扬他10年归来， 他说，艺术馆与南方大学学院一样，是属于马来西亚社会，特别是华社的艺术馆能够与国内外的艺术家结缘非常难得，他希望艺术馆可以持续扮演这样的角色。 其它出席开幕礼嘉宾包括：副董事长拿汀郑惠珍、校长蔡润煌、副校长梁泷光、马来西亚草堂门金石书画会会长张财、柔佛书艺协会会长覃大强、水墨画家郑贝山与黄田方。
