We are thrilled to announce that the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT), through the Department of Computer Science, has successfully secured the Certified Huawei ICT Academy membership for a period of two years, from 25/04/2025 to 01/03/2027! 
This achievement marks a significant milestone in our commitment to advancing ICT education and strengthening industry collaboration. Southern University College (Southern UC) is proud to partner with Huawei, one of the world’s leading technology companies, through the prestigious Huawei ICT Academy program. This global initiative connects over 2,600 universities across 110 countries, empowering the next generation of ICT innovators.
Fields of Collaboration:Through this partnership, SUC will explore and offer specialized training in cutting-edge technologies, including:
• Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• 5G Technology
• Cybersecurity
• Cloud Computing
• Data Communication
The Huawei ICT Academy membership brings numerous benefits to Southern UC, including opportunities for international collaboration by networking with Huawei ICT Academies worldwide, professional training for academic staff to enhance their expertise in Huawei technologies, and specialized training for students to equip them with industry-relevant, future-ready skills. Additionally, our students and staff will gain access to Huawei’s annual forums and seminars for knowledge sharing, as well as exciting opportunities to participate in global technology competitions and showcase their talents on an international stage.
