为深化大学与社区的连结，推动地方发展与文化传承，南方大学学院文化与社会服务委员会与柔佛社区营造协会正式签署合作备忘录，携手推进社区营造。 此合作备忘录签署仪式暨讲座，于7月29日下午2时在该校文物与艺术馆举行，活动亦为南方大学学院50周年校庆系列的重要一环。 这项活动是由该院文化与社会服务委员会主办，南方电视台及华人族群与文化研究所协办，活动吸引多位学界、全柔各地区社区组织代表和学生出席，来自古来、北干那那、居銮、东甲、麻坡等地的社区营造代表齐聚一堂，分享各自社区的项目经验与成果。 共商社区营造脚步，地方创生工作者卓衍豪亦受邀主讲，以“从地方创生到地方品牌：重新发现与塑造地方”为主题，结合其在社区发展、文化企划与创意经济的丰富经验，深入浅出地讲解社区营造的理论与实践。
