为迎接新任荣誉研究员的加入，南方大学学院中华语言文化学院于8月25日隆重举办了第128场南方沙龙人文学术讲座，主题为《南风新思：华人文史研究的跨界对话》。此次盛会旨在以跨学科的文化茶座形式，激发学术新思，促进不同研究视角间的思想碰撞。 此次活动获得学校高层重视，出席者包括南方大学学院董事长拿督陈洺臣、副董事长拿汀郑惠珍、董事符传曙、校长蔡润煌教授、副校长梁龙光教授、中华语言文化学院院长王润华资深教授等。讲座正式开始前，校长蔡润煌教授代表校方，向四位新任的华人族群与文化研究所荣誉研究员颁发了委任状，他们分别是新山资深文史工作者舒庆祥先生、新加坡南洋理工大学华文教研中心客座教授南治国博士、星洲日报副总编辑贺婉蜜女士，以及培群独立中学历史科暨图书馆主任李文辉先生 。 随后的讲座中，四位研究员从各自的专业领域出发，就马新与东南亚华人文史研究展开了精彩的交流与对话。他们的真知灼见不仅为师生们带来了学术上的启发，更深化了对华人历史与文化的理解 。并在华人族群与文化研究所所长莫家浩助理教授的引导讨论下，使得思想的火花持续迸发。此次讲座吸引了众多校内外师生与公众参与，现场气氛热烈。未来，南方大学学院将继续推动跨领域对话，为华人历史与文化研究注入更多活力与见解 。
