Johor Bahru, 22 December 2025 – Five international students from Southern University College (SUC), comprising three Diploma students and two Bachelor’s degree students enrolled in the MPU Malay Language Communication course, participated in an academic visit to Yayasan Warisan Johor. The visit was accompanied by their lecturer, Asst. Prof. Dr. Bambang Suhartono Mohd Said, together with Associate Prof. Dr. Tang Chew Peng (FCS) and Asst. Prof. Dr. Nur Azliza Mohd Nor (FHSS).
The delegation arrived at 9.00 a.m. and was welcomed by five staff members of Yayasan Warisan Johor led by Mr. Mazlan Keling. The group was guided through four main locations: the Documentation and Heritage Centre, Johor Weaving Gallery, Zapin House, and Johor Art Gallery.
Highlights of the visit included an introduction to Johor’s heritage cuisine, Nasi Ambeng, traditional songket weaving processes, Zapin dance performances, and participation in learning the traditional Malay Joget dance.
The visit concluded at the Johor Art Gallery with an international currency exhibition organized by Bank Negara Malaysia. The programme ended with the presentation of a Certificate of Appreciation and souvenirs, followed by a commemorative group photo.
SUC 国际学生学术访问柔佛遗产基金会
柔佛新山,2025年12月22日 —— 来自南方大学学院(Southern University College, SUC)的五名国际学生参与了此次学术访问活动。其中包括三名文凭课程学生及两名学士学位学生,他们修读 MPU《马来语沟通》课程,并在 Asst. Prof. Dr. Bambang Suhartono Mohd Said 讲师的带领下,与 Associate Prof. Dr. Tang Chew Peng(FCS)及 Asst. Prof. Dr. Nur Azliza Mohd Nor(FHSS)一同前往柔佛遗产基金会进行访问。
代表团于上午9时抵达,并由以 Mazlan Keling 先生为首的五名柔佛遗产基金会职员接待。随后,代表团在工作人员的讲解与带领下,参观了文献与遗产中心、柔佛织锦画廊、Zapin 之家以及柔佛艺术画廊四个主要地点。
此次访问的亮点包括介绍柔佛传统饮食 Nasi Ambeng、观摩传统宋吉锦织造工艺、欣赏 Zapin 舞蹈表演,以及亲身体验学习马来传统 Joget 舞蹈。
最后一站为柔佛艺术画廊,参观了由马来西亚国家银行主办的国际货币展览。活动以颁发感谢证书与纪念品并合影留念圆满结束。
