On 29th June 2025, 47 students and 2 lecturers from the Department of Education participated in an experiential learning visit to Johor Zoo and Kota Jail (Penjara Ayer Molek).
At Johor Zoo, students explored a variety of animal species and examined biodiversity, linking these observations to key themes in early childhood environmental education.
The subsequent visit to Kota Jail offered valuable insights into the nation’s correctional system, focusing on rehabilitation and law enforcement. This experience encouraged students to reflect on issues of social responsibility and civic values—important components in shaping holistic educational approaches.
The trip fostered observation, critical reflection, and discussion, enriching students’ understanding of how real-world experiences can enhance teaching and learning in early childhood settings.
Students returned with deeper insights and a renewed appreciation for the transformative power of experiential learning.
柔佛动物园和哥打监狱体验式学习之旅
2025 年 6 月 29 日，来自教育系的 47 名学生和 2 名讲师开启了柔佛动物园和哥打监狱的体验式学习之旅。
在柔佛动物园，学生们探索了动物物种，并了解了与幼儿环境教育主题相关的生物多样性。
在哥打监狱，他们了解到了改造和执法的现实，深入了解社会责任和公民价值观。
这次旅行鼓励学生们去观察、反思和讨论，丰富了她们对如何增强幼儿教学的真实体验。
此次行程使学生们收获良多，深化了他们对体验式学习的理解与认同。
