On November 1, 2025, the Department of Education hosted the inaugural Teaching Aids Competition at Southern University College, held in conjunction with the 2025 FHSS Educational Insight & Networking event.
The competition brought together 14 talented participants, showcasing creativity and emphasising the crucial role of teaching aids in early childhood education.
Three esteemed judges — Datin Ang Chin Fan from Xaris Education Group, Ms Ong Shi Ting, and Ms Oh Jia Le from Babaiola Preschool — generously devoted their time and expertise, offering thoughtful and constructive insights during the judging session.

Competition Results:
• Champion: Lee Jia Jing, Yew Qian Ying, and Kimmie Cheah Huey Shin
• 1st Runner-up: Jennifer Teoh En Teng
• 2nd Runner-up: Ooi Jing Wen, Lee Yan Nee, and Liew Jia Yi
