Faculty Message

The 1st Research, Innovation & Creativity Exhibition was concluded on January 06, 2023. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DEE) as the main organiser and co-organised by the Department of Journalism and Communication (DJC). Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology and Southern UC Management also supported the event. A total of 35 groups of participants from different institutions are involved in this event, including Southern University College, UCSI, SMK Dato’ Jaafar, and Tunku Abdul Rahman University Management and Technology (TARUMT). Four Gold Awards, five Silver Awards, and three Bronze Awards were announced during the event. TARUMT won the Innovative Invention Award; the Best Young Invention Award went to SMK Dato’ Jaafar team; and the Best Green Invention Award went to SNEW Trading & Solution Sdn Bhd. We had also invited approximately 20 local and international companies across different industries to join the event as a Job-fairs partner by conducting on-the-spot interviews.
