Bachelor of Electronics Engineering with Honours

Course Duration: 4 Years
This course is designed for those who wish to broaden their knowledge in electronics engineering. The main objectives are to train students in the aspects of analysis and design, practical and project handling and problem solving skills. Graduates will be equipped with solid foundation and necessary skills to meet the challenges in the fields of engineering today.
SUC Bachelor of Electronic Engineering with Honours Accredited by EAC
Our Bachelor degree programme is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC) and recognized by the Malaysian Government. EAC is a delegated body by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as the only recognized accrediting body for engineering degree programmes offered in Malaysia.
This degree is also internationally recognised under the Washington Accord, a multinational agreement which recognises the substantial equivalency of engineering degree programmes accredited by the responsible bodies in each of the current signatory countries.

Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)
PLO 1 Engineering Knowledge:
Ability to apply acquired fundamental knowledge of mathematics, science and electronic engineering to the solution of complex engineering problems.
PLO 2 Problem Analysis:
Able to identify, formulate, research, analysis and synthesis of conclusions for the complex engineering problems.
PLO 3 Design/Development of Solutions:
Design solutions for complex engineering problems and systems, component or processes that meet specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, multi-cultural society and environment.
PLO 4 Investigation:
Ability to conduct investigation into complex problems using research-based knowledge and research methods including data analysis and interpretation to obtain valid conclusions.
PLO 5 Modern Tool Usage:
Ability to create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources, modern engineering and IT tools to complex engineering practice , with an understanding of the limitations.

Entry Requirement
- STPM/A-Level: 2 principal passes and including Mathematics and Physics / Chemistry subjects
- UEC: Grade B in 5 subjects, including Mathematics and Physics / Chemistry / Engineering related subject
- Foundation: Pass with minimum CGPA of 2.00 in related field
- Diploma: Pass with minimum CGPA of 2.00 in related field
- ATAR: 65 with minimum of scaled score 50 for mathematics and one natural science
- Others: Other recognized equivalent qualifications
- English Competency Requirement for International Student: IELTS 5.0 / its equivalent
