Bachelor of Arts (Honours) English Language Teaching is a comprehensive programme that consists of the studies of English language pedagogy, linguistics, and literature, in addition to academic research. On one hand, the professional courses enable our students to possess sufficient skills and knowledge to teach English to learners of various proficiency levels. On the other hand, our graduates are also confident to pursue their postgraduate studies related to language and teaching. Entry Requirements
• UEC: Grade B in 5 subjects including English and MUET Band 4 / IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 550 (written based) / 1119 – C6
• STPM: 2 principal passes with a minimum of CGPA 2.0 and a credit in English in SPM and MUET Band 4 / IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 550 (written based) / 1119 – C6
• A-Level: With a minimum of CGPA 2.00 with at least a full pass in any two (2) subjects and a credit in English and MUET Band 4 / IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 550 (written based) / 1119 – C6
• Foundation/ Matriculation: Pass with a minimum of CGPA 2.0 and a credit in English in SPM and MUET Band 4 / IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 550 (written based) / 1119 – C6
• Diploma/ Advanced Diploma: Pass with a minimum of CGPA 2.0 and a credit in English in SPM and MUET Band 4 / IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 550 (written based) / 1119 – C6
• Others: ATAR is 65 and a minimum of scaled score 50 in any two subjects AND a credit in English at SPM or its equivalent OR other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government
• English Competency requirement for International Student: A minimum score of 6.0 in IELTS / Band 4 of MUET / TOEFL 550 / 1119 – C6 OR its equivalent
