校长简介

蔡润煌教授拥有马来西亚理工大学 (UTM) 工学学士（一级荣誉）、新加坡国立大学 (NUS) 工学硕士学位、通过剑桥麻省理工学院 (CMI) 发起并由剑桥大学贾奇商学院 (CJBS) 提供的专业实践计划获得技术政策哲学硕士学位以及剑桥大学博士学位。他是剑桥大学沃尔夫森学院和冈维尔与凯斯学院的终身会员。他是郭氏基金会学者和英联邦学者。在他的职业生涯中，蔡教授最初在英特尔担任 IC 设计工程师，为下一代网络处理器的开发做出了贡献。随后，他加入飞思卡尔半导体公司 (前身为摩托罗拉，SPS)，担任高级产品开发工程师和高级测试工程师，负责监督高性能汽车微控制器的产品开发和项目执行。

蔡教授是英国工程理事会注册的特许工程师，也是马来西亚工程师委员会注册的专业工程师执业证书（PEPC）。他目前担任马来西亚工程技术学会（IET）马来西亚地方网络主席、马来西亚工程师学会（IEM）副主席以及东盟工程组织联合会（AFEO）管理委员会秘书长。此外，他还是律师公会律师及事务律师纪律委员会（ASDB）纪律委员会成员。

副校长（学术）简介

梁龙光教授（Prof. ChM. Dr. Leong Loong Kong）在高等教育领域拥有超过20年的丰富经验，并在化工行业有两年的实践经历。目前，他担任南方大学学院副校长（学术事务）兼教授，致力于推动教育、科研及化学科学的实际应用。

梁教授毕业于马来西亚博特拉大学，获得石油化学荣誉理学士学位及先进材料（催化）博士学位，并在马来亚大学COMBICAT中心完成博士后研究。他的学术生涯始于拉曼大学，曾任助理教授，后升任副教授及理学硕士与博士课程主任，期间积极参与课程开发及学术品质提升工作。

在产业界，他曾任Excelube Marketing (M) Sdn. Bhd.基础油营运及研发经理，将理论知识与实际应用相结合，促进技术创新。作为管理者，梁教授在课程开发、学术认证、质量监控、预算规划及科研合作等方面发挥了重要作用，并推动了持续改进政策及研究实验室建设。

作为马来西亚化学师学会（IKM）资深会员，他活跃于学术评审、课程认证、教学工作坊、课程大纲编写及同行评审等专业事务。梁教授秉持全球视野，致力于在南方大学学院打造卓越、创新与国际化的学术环境，培养适应瞬息万变、紧密相连世界的卓越人才。

副总裁（企业化和国际化）简介

超过20年的设计教育和设计行业经验，近年来专注于推动设计研究、创新教育理念及设计专业的融合。17岁时，我通过马来西亚工艺大学的考试与面试选拔，获得工业设计学士学位入学资格，为我的设计原理和技法奠定了坚实基础。随后，我在同校取得工业设计硕士学位，这段教育经历为我的职业生涯打下了基础，使我能够深入理解设计应用。此外，我还在同一所大学获得了教育技术的博士学位，进一步加深了在设计与技术交叉领域的见解，专注于其在教育领域的应用。

自2019年起，我担任南方大学学院艺术与设计学院的院长。作为院长，我深信与教职员工、学生和行业专业人士紧密合作的重要性，共同开发和实施符合行业趋势的课程改进，以满足设计行业的需求。在学术方面，我积极推动了多项国内外合作，与英国、印尼、中国、台湾和新加坡等国际高等院校建立了紧密的合作关系。此外，我还与中国和泰国的企业建立了深入的学术和商业联系。

My dedication to teaching and innovative ideas has earned me recognition with awards for Teaching Excellence. Simultaneously, my research and academic pursuits have been honoured with awards for Research Excellence. As a mentor, I inspire and guide students to success in national and international design competitions, earning multiple honours as the Best Mentor in various design competitions.  I am delighted to emphasize that in 2020, at an international furniture exhibition, I played a key role in securing the prestigious award for Best Institution in a furniture competition.

In my role as Vice President (Research and Innovation) at Southern University College, I prioritize effective communication, teamwork, and mutual understanding to foster high-performing teams. Beyond academia, my passion for travel has taken me to over 18 countries, enriching my perspectives through diverse cultural engagements. Travel serves as more than a leisure pursuit; it is an opportunity for profound exploration and learning, facilitating the adaptation of innovative concepts in managing people and resources.  Travel broadens my perspectives on global issues, trends, and innovations, enabling me to bring a broader outlook to research and educational strategies.

蔡瑜绮博士

副总裁（研发与创新）简介

Asst. Prof. Dr. Chua Yee Chii currently serves as the Vice President (Research & Innovation) at Southern University College, where she leads strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening the university’s research ecosystem, fostering innovation, and promoting excellence in postgraduate education. She holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate in Psychology (Child and Family Psychology) from University Malaysia Sabah, all of which were supported by the prestigious MyBrain15 Postgraduate Scholarship. 

Dr. Chua brings over 15 years of experience in academia, research, and leadership, spanning teaching, curriculum development, and research management. She began her academic journey as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Psychology and Education, University Malaysia Sabah, and has since held various academic and administrative roles including Lecturer, Tutor, and Practicum Supervisor. 

From 2019 to 2022, she served as Dean of the Faculty of Education & Psychology and concurrently as Acting Dean of the Institute of Graduate Studies and Research (IGSR). In these roles, she played a key role in steering undergraduate and postgraduate program accreditations and aligning faculty initiatives with institutional research and academic quality goals.

Since assuming the role of Dean of IGSR in 2024, Dr. Chua has led efforts to enhance research integrity, academic excellence, and interdisciplinary innovation. Her leadership focuses on strengthening postgraduate programs, supporting research activities, ensuring compliance with national research assessment frameworks (notably MyRA), and expanding international research collaborations.

Alongside her administrative duties, Dr. Chua remains an active researcher and academic supervisor. Her areas of expertise include child and family psychology, developmental psychology, and social psychology. As Vice President (R&I), she is committed to cultivating a dynamic research culture grounded in ethical practices, innovation, and scholarly impact across the university.
