The “Run for Southern” 50-Party Charity Run Carnival

The “Run for Southern” 50-Party Charity Run Carnival, organized by the Student Organizing Committee of Southern University College, successfully concluded on March 28, 2026. The committee was honored to invite Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri Johor bagi Kawasan Skudai, YB Marina binti Ibrahim, and Dato’ Tan Meng Seng, Director of Board of Director, Southern University College, as the opening guests. The event attracted approximately 300 students and members of the public, creating a lively atmosphere filled with energy, health, and vitality.

The Charity Run Carnival officially kicked off in the early morning, with participants completing the course in a relaxed and joyful environment. The event featured a variety of carefully arranged interactive activities and exciting programs, adding fun and vibrancy to the overall experience. Notably, the fun run also incorporated a charitable element, raising funds for HOPE Animal Shelter Malaysia (Hope Animal Shelter) to actively support animal protection and promote the values of caring for life and giving back to society.

This run carnival not only effectively promoted a healthy lifestyle but also further strengthened the connection between the campus and the community, while raising funds to support student club development, making the event highly meaningful.

2026年“Run for Southern” 50派对义跑嘉年华于清晨正式启动，参与者在轻松愉快的氛围中顺利完成赛程。活动现场亦精心安排了多项互动环节与精彩节目，为整体体验增添了更多趣味与活力。值得一提的是，本次活动融入公益元素，为Hope护生园筹募善款，以实际行动支持动物保护事业，传递关爱生命、回馈社会的正面价值。

此次义跑不仅有效推广了健康生活方式，也进一步凝聚了校园与社区之间的联系，同时为学生社团发展筹集经费，意义深远。
