The Faculty of Art & Design of Southern University College held the Southern University College Award Ceremony for the 34th Times Young Creative Award on 13 March 2026, recognizing faculty members and students who achieved outstanding results in this prestigious international creative competition.
This special ceremony was organized for award-winning faculty members and students who were unable to travel to China to attend the official award ceremony last year. The event was held with official authorization from the Times Young Creative Award.
Top management of Southern University College attended the ceremony to witness and present the awards, including the Chairman of Board of Director, Chairman of Board of Governors, Vice Chairman of Board of Director , Acting President, Vice President, and Dean of the Faculty of Art & Design, offering their congratulations and recognition to the award recipients.
During the ceremony, a special documentary screening was also presented, featuring three students who won awards in last year’s Yan Emperor Shennong Creative Competition and were invited to Hunan, China for an 8-day, 7-night academic exchange and award ceremony. The video documented their cultural exchange activities, academic visits, and award presentation experiences, allowing faculty members and students present to witness this meaningful international learning and cultural exchange journey.
Students from the Faculty of Art & Design achieved remarkable results across multiple categories in the competition, winning 4 First Prizes, 6 Second Prizes, and 11 Third Prizes in areas including Design, Social & Sustainability, Environmental & Ecological, Interactive & Spatial Design, Culture & Creative Works, and the Yan Emperor Shennong Cultural Creative Competition.
In addition, students received 1 Outstanding Work Award and 6 Excellent Work Awards in the Panda Homeland · Giant Panda Cultural Creative Competition, while several lecturers were also honored with the Outstanding Supervising Lecturer Award in recognition of their dedicated mentorship and guidance. Furthermore, Southern University College was also honored with the Best Institution Award and the Industry–Academia Contribution Award in recognition of its commitment to creative education and industry collaboration. 
This award ceremony not only recognized the hard work and achievements of faculty members and students in the field of creative design but also encouraged more students to actively participate in international competitions, broaden their design perspectives, and continue advancing creativity and cultural development.
第34届时报金犊奖国际竞赛南方大学学院站颁奖典礼圆满举行
南方大学学院艺术与设计学院于 2026年3月13日 举行 第34届时报金犊奖国际竞赛南方大学学院站颁奖典礼，表彰在国际创意竞赛中表现优异的师生。
本次颁奖典礼特别为 去年未能前往中国参与当地颁奖典礼的获奖师生 而设立，并获得官方授权 举办。典礼由南方大学学院多位校领导亲临见证与颁奖，包括 董事长、理事长、副董事长、代校长、副校长 以及 艺术与设计学院院长，共同为获奖师生送上祝贺与肯定。
此外，典礼现场也特别播放了 去年炎帝神农创作赛三位得奖学生获邀前往中国湖南参加为期8天7夜的学术交流与颁奖典礼纪录影片，分享他们参与文化交流、学术参访及领奖典礼的珍贵经历，让在场师生一同见证这段难得的国际学习与文化交流旅程。
