The Institute of Graduate Studies and Research (IGSR) invited all lecturers to participate in the programme to gain a comprehensive understanding of the research grant application process and to be fully prepared, ensuring that the course was conducted efficiently and effectively.

The “Strategic Writing Clinic: Enhancing FRGS Proposal Grant Success” aimed to assist researchers in clarifying their research objectives, enhancing the academic quality and overall impact of their proposals, and strategically aligning them with key evaluation criteria of research funding bodies, thereby effectively increasing the success rate of grant applications.

Through systematic writing guidance, participants learned how to progressively refine their proposals from initial drafts into highly competitive and complete versions that were ready for funding submission. At the end of the workshop, lecturers also developed clear and actionable plans to further strengthen the impact, clarity, and persuasiveness of their research proposals, thus improving their chances of approval.

本次举办的“FRGS 研究计划书策略性写作工作坊”旨在协助研究人员明确研究目标、提升研究计划书的学术质量与整体影响力，并与研究基金评审重点实现策略性对齐，从而有效提高研究基金申请的成功率。

通过系统化的写作指导，参与者将学习如何将研究计划书从初稿逐步优化为具高度竞争力、可直接用于经费申请的完整版本。工作坊结束后，讲师们亦将制定清晰可行的行动计划，以进一步提升研究计划书的影响力、清晰度与说服力，增强获批的可能性。
