Southern UC Celebrates Big Wins at Private Education Excellence Awards 2025! 🏆🏅

Southern University College (Southern UC) proudly celebrates a remarkable achievement at the Private Education Excellence Awards 2025, held on 9 July 2025 in Kuala Lumpur. Three of our outstanding educators were honoured for their exceptional leadership, dedication, and service in Malaysia’s higher education landscape.

1. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Chuah Joon Huang, President/CEO of Southern UC, received the highest honour—the National Outstanding Educationist Award (College Category). His visionary leadership has driven Southern UC’s transformation in academic innovation, ESG leadership, and industry collaboration.

2. Asst. Prof. Ts. Dr. Teo Pei Kian, Dean of the Faculty of Art & Design, was awarded the National Outstanding Educator Award (College Category) for her dedication to excellence in design education and cultivating creative professionals for the future.

3. Asst. Prof. Ts. So Yong Quay, Registrar, was presented with the Long Service Award (30 Years and Above in the Teaching Profession) in recognition of his lifelong commitment to education and shaping generations of students.

These awards reflect Southern UC’s continuous commitment to educational excellence and the tireless contributions of our academic leaders in guiding and inspiring students.

南方大学学院荣获2025年私立教育卓越奖多项大奖！

南方大学学院（Southern UC）在2025年7月9日于吉隆坡举行的私立教育卓越奖（Private Education Excellence Awards）中取得了卓越成就，三位杰出教育工作者因其卓越的领导力、奉献精神及对马来西亚高等教育的贡献而受到表彰。

1. 南方大学学院校长/首席执行长蔡润煌博士荣获最高荣誉——全国杰出教育家奖（学院类别）。他具远见的领导力推动了南方大学学院在学术创新、ESG领导力和产业合作方面的转型。

2. 艺术与设计学院院长赵佩娟助理教授荣获全国杰出教育者奖（学院类别），表彰她在设计教育上的卓越奉献以及在培养未来创意专业人才方面所做出的努力。

3. 教务长苏永贵助理教授荣获长期服务奖（教学生涯30年以上），表彰他对教育的终身奉献以及对一代又一代学生的深远影响。
