Short Film Screening & Sharing Session: The Bloodebt

This program was organized by the Department of General Studies (DGS) from Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHSS), under the subject MPU2223 Introduction to Mass Communication, taught by Asst. Prof. Dr. Bambang Suhartono bin Mohd Said.

22 students from the School of Mass Communication (SMC), MDIS Malaysia International College, along with Ms. Molly Tugan, Head of the Department of Mass Communication, and accompanied by lecturer Mr. Iswaran Gunasegaran, visited SUC for a Short Film Screening & Sharing Session: The Bloodebt held at Auditorium 2B from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. The short film presented was a final-year project by diploma students from SMC, MDIS Malaysia International College.

This program marked a collaborative effort between DGS, FHSS and SMC, MDIS Malaysia International College, aimed at promoting knowledge-sharing in the field of mass communication. It also served as an initiative to strengthen academic collaboration between the two institutions.

Ms. Anitha Thiagarajam, Dean of FHSS SUC, delivered the welcoming remarks, followed by a speech from the Head of Department of SMC MDIS. Both leaders emphasized the importance of continuing and expanding this initiative to other areas, to foster the exchange of ideas and to further enrich students’ experiences and skillsets at both institutions.

本项活动由人文与社会学院（FHSS），通识教育学系（DGS）由助理教授Dr. Bambang Suhartono bin Mohd Said主办，作为MPU2223《大众传播导论》课程的一部分。

来自MDIS马来西亚国际学院大众传播学院（SMC）的22名学生，在大众传播学系主任Ms. Molly Tugan的带领下，并由讲师Mr. Iswaran Gunasegaran陪同，到访南方大学学院参加一场于下午2点至4点30分在2B礼堂举办的短片放映与交流会。本次放映的短片是由MDIS学院大众传播专业文凭课程的毕业生所制作的毕业作品。

该活动是南方大学学院人文与社会学院、通识教育学系与MDIS马来西亚国际学院大众传播学院之间的一项合作计划，旨在促进大众传播领域的知识共享，同时也作为加强两校学术合作的一项举措。

人文与社会学院院长Ms. Anitha Thiagarajam在活动中发表欢迎致辞，随后由MDIS大众传播学院院长致词。两位负责人均表示，此类合作项目应进一步拓展至其他领域，以促进思想交流，并进一步丰富两校学生的学习体验与专业技能。
