Orientation Opening Ceremony of the Third Semester at Southern University College

October 10, 2025, marked the Orientation Opening Ceremony of the Third Semester at Southern University College.

This semester, we are delighted to welcome 600 energetic new students from both local and international backgrounds.

In addition, the university has awarded over 80 scholarships and financial aids, with a total value of RM1.5 million. This not only reflects our students’ outstanding academic achievements and dedication but also demonstrates the university’s strong commitment to supporting its students.

This semester’s opening ceremony is held in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, featuring holographic projection and robotic arm technology as part of the launch performance. This creative combination adds a touch of innovation and technology to the event, symbolizing the university’s continuous advancement in integrating education with modern technology.

We are also have seniors from DDC Dance Studio present a dynamic and passionate dance performance, bringing an energetic atmosphere to the ceremony.

Finally, we once again extend a warm welcome to all new students joining the Southern University College family, and wish everyone a bright and inspiring journey ahead—one filled with youthful spirit and the pursuit of dreams.

本次开学启动仪式特别与工程与资讯科技学院合作，采用全息投影与机械手技术作为开学启动仪式，为典礼增添了创新与科技的色彩，象征着大学在教育与科技融合上的不断突破。

现场还邀请了来自 DDC 舞坊的学长姐们带来充满活力与激情的舞蹈表演，为典礼掀起热烈的气氛。
