HRD Corp Hosts SkillMaster Programme to Prepare Johor’s Hospitality Industry for Visit Malaysia 2026 and Visit Johor 2026

HRD Corp Johor successfully conducted the SkillMaster: Preparing Johor’s Hospitality Industry for Visit Malaysia 2026 and Visit Johor 2026 programme on 18 November 2025, at Iskandar Puteri, bringing together industry professionals and educators for a productive and insightful training session.

The initiative was offered free of charge as part of HRD Corp’s continuous efforts to uplift the skills and readiness of those involved in the hospitality and tourism sectors.

The event attracted participants from various industry segments, including hotels, travel agencies, tour guides, and representatives from halal-related services. Their participation underscored the programme’s relevance in preparing industry stakeholders for the upcoming tourism campaigns.

Among the participants were four lecturers from the Department of Tourism Management, Southern University College, who joined the session to strengthen their understanding of current industry trends and prepare students for future tourism demands. Their participation reflects the strong collaboration between academia and industry in supporting Johor’s tourism development.

The SkillMaster programme focused on strategies and expectations for both national and state-level campaigns—Visit Malaysia 2026 and Visit Johor 2026. The session equipped attendees with insights on service excellence, visitor expectations, and opportunities emerging within Johor’s growing tourism landscape.

该课程，是HRD Corp为持续提升酒店和旅游行业相关人员技能与准备工作而免费提供的培训。

活动吸引了来自多个行业领域的参与者，包括 酒店、旅行社、导游以及清真相关服务的代表。他们的参与凸显了该计划在帮助行业利益相关者为即将到来的旅游推广活动做好准备方面的重要性。
