The Department of Journalism and Communication Studies (DJC) successfully organized a Photography Competition as part of the FHSS Educational Insight and Networking event on 1st November 2025. The competition welcomed enthusiastic participation from both students and internal staff, showcasing creativity and talent from across the Southern University College community.
Participants were required to capture their best photo shots taken inside or around the SUC campus. A panel of judges selected the top three winners based on creativity, originality, and overall visual impact.
The Photography Competition concluded with the selection of three outstanding winners whose photographs demonstrated exceptional creativity and strong visual impact. The first-place winner was awarded RM 200 along with a certificate, recognizing their remarkable ability to capture the essence of the SUC campus through compelling imagery. The second-place winner received RM 150 and a certificate in acknowledgment of their impressive work and artistic perspective. Meanwhile, the third-place winner was presented with RM 100 and a certificate as a testament to their noteworthy effort and commendable photographic skills. These prizes serve to celebrate the talent and dedication of all participants while encouraging continuous creative exploration within the campus community.
人文与社会科学学院（FHSS）教育洞察与交流活动摄影比赛 – 2025年11月1日
新闻与传播系（DJC）于2025年11月1日成功举办了摄影比赛，作为人文与社会科学学院教育洞察与交流活动的一部分。本次比赛吸引了学院学生与内部职员的热情参与，充分展现了南方大学学院社区的创意与才华。
参赛者需拍摄在南方大学学院校园内或周边取景的最佳照片。评审团依据创意、原创性及整体视觉效果选出前三名优胜者。
摄影比赛圆满落幕，评选出三位表现优异的得奖者，他们的作品展现出卓越的创意与强烈的视觉冲击力。第一名获得200令吉及证书，以表彰其以引人入胜的影像成功捕捉南方大学学院校园精髓的非凡能力。第二名获得150令吉及证书，以肯定其令人印象深刻的作品与艺术视角。与此同时，第三名获颁100令吉及证书，以彰显其值得赞赏的努力与出色的摄影技巧。
这些奖项旨在表扬所有参赛者的才华与投入，同时鼓励校园社区持续进行创意上的探索与突破。
