Four students from Shokei University in Japan completed a two-week mobility program at Southern University College. In addition to learning English, the students also had the opportunity to explore Johor Bahru and Melaka, and participated in multicultural courses, immersing themselves in the rich cultural diversity and charm of Malaysia.

【锺正山先生纪念展 · 一生只数笔 】开幕礼 配合第40届全国华人文化节闭幕礼，“锺正山先生纪念展：一生只数笔”日前举行开幕仪式，即日起在南方大学学院文物与艺术馆公开展出至26日（周一至周五）。 中国驻马大使馆领事侨务处副主任于天翔出席当天开幕嘉宾。与会嘉宾包括马来西亚中华大会堂总会总会长丹斯里吴添泉、柔佛州中华总会总会长拿督林家全、南方大学学院署理董事长拿督斯里张学富、文物与艺术馆馆长陈再藩，以及已故锺正山千金，也是锺正山美术馆馆长锺瑜博士。 锺瑜在开幕仪式上感谢主办单位促成这次的展出，并指这是锺正山美术馆首次将这个主题展带到新山展出。她指出，父亲谦虚的说出“一生只数笔”指自己其实只是画了几笔。”锺瑜表示，父亲的每一笔都很精彩。 她说，这次展出则是父亲的文献，希望通过这些文献让更多人了解父亲生前的故事。 于天翔表示，锺正山是杰出的著名画家，他将中华传统文化艺术精髓与现代美学融合，以独特的艺术类别，诠释了华人精神。通过这次展览，让大众重新走进一代宗师的内心世界，感受他对艺术的执着追求以及文化的热爱。 陈再藩在会上介绍南方大学学院与锺正山的渊源时说，锺正山于2015年校庆时捐赠的大型作品【龙竹精神】在艺术馆厅供访客近距离欣赏。他强调，锺正山长期积极推动中华文化，在新山乃至全国皆有深远影响，文化贡献值得后辈铭记。
