Aichi University Students Complete Exchange at Southern University College

Time flies! Eighteen students from Aichi University, Japan, have successfully completed a three-month study program at Southern University College.

A farewell ceremony was held on June 6, attended by Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Chuah Joon Huang, President of Southern University College; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chan Sai Keong, Vice President; Prof. Dr. Wong Yoon Wah, Dean of the Faculty of Chinese Studies; Ms. Irene Teoh Ai Ling, Director of SC Education Management Sdn. Bhd.; Mr. Hirotada Abe from the Modern Chinese Studies Program at Aichi University; Mr. Yuichiro Fujii; as well as teaching lecturers Asst. Prof. Dr. Chen Fan Jing, Ms. Wong Wai Kuan, Mr. Khoo Kay Lai, Ms. Chua Zhe Qian, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Bak Jia How.

During the ceremony, the Aichi University students showcased their learning outcomes with heartfelt Chinese poetry recitations and singing performances, expressing gratitude to their lecturers and the institution.

Although the offline portion of the program has concluded, students will continue with two additional weeks of online Chinese language lessons after returning to Japan. We wish them great success in their upcoming HSK exams and all the best in their future endeavors!

在6月6日举行的欢送仪式上，南方大学学院校长蔡润煌教授、副校长陈世强副教授、中华语言文化学院院长王润华教授、南方教育机构总监张爱玲、日本爱知大学现代中国学部实施委员长阿部宏忠老师、国际交流课藤井雄一朗，以及授课讲师曾繁靖博士、黄荟如老师、邱继来老师、蔡哲茜老师、莫家浩博士等共同出席。

仪式上，日本学生以中文呈现诗歌朗诵和歌唱表演，真挚表达对师长的感谢与三个月学习成果的分享。

虽然现地课程已结束，同学们将在返国后继续完成为期两周的线上汉语学习。预祝大家顺利通过汉语检定考试，一切顺利。
