Faculty of Art & Design, Southern University College is honoured to collaborate with Le Gu Tang and the German Chinese Treasures Association to foster cultural and artistic exchange.
This creation originates from the Design Collaboration Agreement signed in 2024 between Southern University College and the German Chinese Treasures Association, marking a significant milestone in their international design partnership.
At The Green Treasures Exhibition held in Abu Dhabi in January 2026, hosted at The Club Abu Dhabi, Janice Goh presented this student-designed shawl to the Consul General of Germany in the United Arab Emirates and Ambassador’s wife, Mrs. Sybille Pfaff, symbolizing friendship and a meaningful cultural promise.
The shawl is themed “A Rendezvous of Dragon and Phoenix”:
Dragon: Dominated by orange, representing strength and courage, soaring high to embody the spirit of striving forward.
Phoenix: Highlighted in pink, symbolizing elegance and hope, gracefully dancing to reflect the beauty and gentleness of youth.
Blue Background: Like the vast sky, it carries the promise between dragon and phoenix, symbolizing infinite possibilities and the boundless stage of the future.
This shawl is not just a garment, but a promise: the dragon and phoenix meet in the sky, watching over each other, and together they write the chapter of youth.
【龙飞凤舞之约：青春设计登上国际舞台】南方大学学院艺术与设计学院师生很荣幸携手乐古堂与德国中华瑰宝协会展开合作，共同推动文化与艺术的交流与传承。
在2026年1月于阿布扎比举行的“翠色瑰宝”展览（The Green Treasures Exhibition）中，该展览于阿布扎比白金五星级私人俱乐部 (The Club Abu Dhabi) 举办，由Janice Goh（吴多美女士）将这款学生设计的披肩赠予德国驻阿拉伯联合酋长国总领事兼大使夫人 Mrs. Sybille Pfaff，象征着跨文化的友谊与美好承诺。
这项作品源自南方大学学院与德国中华瑰宝协会于2024年签署的设计方案合作协议，是双方国际设计合作的重要成果之一。
这款披肩以“龙飞凤舞之约”为主题：
龙：橙色为主，象征力量与勇气，腾空而起，展现奋发向上的精神。
凤：粉色为主，代表优雅与希望，翩然起舞，寓意青春的美丽与温柔。
蓝色底色：如同浩瀚天空，承载着龙与凤的约定，象征无限可能与未来的广阔舞台。
这不仅是一件披肩，更是一份承诺：龙与凤在天空中相遇，彼此守望，共同书写青春的篇章。
