The paper, “Media Exposure and Trust in the Media,” co-authored by Dr. Mohammed Arandas from (DJC) and his team, has been awarded the Best Paper at the 19th Biennial International Conference on Media & Communication (Mention 2025) on 28 Oct 2025 at Menara Affin @ TRX, Kuala Lumpur.
This international conference, hosted by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, focused on the theme “Media and Communication for Change: Advancing Societal Transformation and Wellbeing.”
The paper’s selection as Best Paper highlights its originality and contribution to the evolving landscape of communication studies. This research, based on four large-scale surveys, directly addresses global concerns regarding misinformation and credibility.
