The Department of Languages successfully organized the\u00a0Student Tourism Showcase 2026<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0at the Music Caf\u00e9 on 1st<\/sup>\u00a0April 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The event was held in conjunction with the\u00a0Visit Johor 2026<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Visit Malaysia 2026<\/em>\u00a0campaigns as part of the BGEN1003 English Proficiency coursework.<\/p>\n

A total of 80 students, grouped into 10 teams, participated in this vibrant and interactive showcase. Each group presented selected tourism destinations in Johor and across Malaysia through creative exhibition booths, incorporating posters, brochures, cultural artifacts, and multimedia displays. The event simulated a real tourism exhibition, providing students with a platform to apply their English communication skills in a practical setting.<\/p>\n

The showcase attracted members of the university community, including students and staff, who actively engaged with the presentations and gained insights into Malaysia\u2019s diverse tourism attractions. The judging panel comprised Ms Lah Wan Yee from the Department of Journalism & Communication (DJC) and Ms Norsyafadilah binti Saidin from the Department of Tourism, who evaluated participants based on presentation skills, creativity, and overall booth design.<\/p>\n

The event was further honoured by the presence of special guests, Ms Anita T., Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHSS), and Ms Chen Lee Wan, Deputy Dean, who graced the occasion as VVIPs. They presented gift hampers to the top three winning groups in recognition of their outstanding performance and creativity.<\/p>\n

The event concluded successfully with the announcement of winners for the best showcase booths and presentations. Overall, the Student Tourism Showcase achieved its objectives of enhancing students\u2019 communication, creativity, and teamwork skills while promoting awareness of local tourism. This initiative reflects the university\u2019s commitment to experiential learning and supports national efforts to promote Malaysia as a key tourism destination.<\/p>\n

\u8bed\u8a00\u7cfb\u4e8e\u7b2c\u4e94\u5468\u4e0a\u534811\u65f6\u81f3\u4e0b\u53481\u65f6\uff0c\u5728\u97f3\u4e50\u5496\u5561\u9986\u6210\u529f\u4e3e\u529e\u4e86\u201c2026\u5b66\u751f\u65c5\u6e38\u5c55\u201d\u3002\u672c\u6b21\u6d3b\u52a8\u914d\u5408\u201c\u67d4\u4f5b\u65c5\u6e38\u5e742026\u201d\u53ca\u201c\u9a6c\u6765\u897f\u4e9a\u65c5\u6e38\u5e742026\u201d\u5c55\u5f00\uff0c\u5e76\u4f5c\u4e3aBGEN1003\u82f1\u8bed\u80fd\u529b\u8bfe\u7a0b\u7684\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\u3002<\/p>\n

\u5171\u670980\u540d\u5b66\u751f\u53c2\u4e0e\uff0c\u5206\u4e3a10\u4e2a\u5c0f\u7ec4\uff0c\u5448\u73b0\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u5145\u6ee1\u6d3b\u529b\u4e0e\u4e92\u52a8\u6027\u7684\u5c55\u89c8\u3002\u6bcf\u4e2a\u5c0f\u7ec4\u901a\u8fc7\u521b\u610f\u5c55\u4f4d\u5c55\u793a\u67d4\u4f5b\u53ca\u9a6c\u6765\u897f\u4e9a\u5404\u5730\u7684\u65c5\u6e38\u666f\u70b9\uff0c\u5185\u5bb9\u5305\u62ec\u6d77\u62a5\u3001\u5ba3\u4f20\u518c\u3001\u6587\u5316\u5c55\u54c1\u53ca\u591a\u5a92\u4f53\u5c55\u793a\u3002\u6b64\u6b21\u6d3b\u52a8\u6a21\u62df\u771f\u5b9e\u7684\u65c5\u6e38\u5c55\u89c8\u73af\u5883\uff0c\u4e3a\u5b66\u751f\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u5b9e\u8df5\u82f1\u8bed\u6c9f\u901a\u80fd\u529b\u7684\u5e73\u53f0\u3002<\/p>\n

\u672c\u6b21\u5c55\u89c8\u5438\u5f15\u4e86\u5927\u5b66\u5e08\u751f\u7684\u79ef\u6781\u53c2\u4e0e\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u5728\u53c2\u89c2\u8fc7\u7a0b\u4e2d\u6df1\u5165\u4e86\u89e3\u4e86\u9a6c\u6765\u897f\u4e9a\u591a\u5143\u7684\u65c5\u6e38\u8d44\u6e90\u3002\u8bc4\u5ba1\u56e2\u7531\u65b0\u95fb\u4e0e\u4f20\u64ad\u7cfb\uff08DJC\uff09\u7684Ms Lah Wan Yee\u4ee5\u53ca\u65c5\u6e38\u7cfb\u7684Ms Norsyafadilah binti Saidin\u7ec4\u6210\uff0c\u8bc4\u4f30\u6807\u51c6\u5305\u62ec\u5c55\u793a\u6280\u5de7\u3001\u521b\u610f\u8868\u73b0\u53ca\u5c55\u4f4d\u8bbe\u8ba1\u3002<\/p>\n

\u6b64\u5916\uff0c\u672c\u6b21\u6d3b\u52a8\u4e5f\u8363\u5e78\u9080\u8bf7\u5230\u8d35\u5bbe\u2014\u2014\u4eba\u6587\u4e0e\u793e\u4f1a\u79d1\u5b66\u5b66\u9662\uff08FHSS\uff09\u9662\u957fMs Anita T.\u53ca\u526f\u9662\u957fMs Chen Lee Wan\u51fa\u5e2d\uff0c\u4e3a\u6d3b\u52a8\u589e\u6dfb\u5149\u5f69\u3002\u4e24\u4f4d\u8d35\u5bbe\u4e3a\u8868\u73b0\u6700\u4f18\u79c0\u7684\u524d\u4e09\u4e2a\u5c0f\u7ec4\u9881\u53d1\u793c\u54c1\u7bee\uff0c\u4ee5\u8868\u5f70\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u6770\u51fa\u8868\u73b0\u4e0e\u521b\u610f\u3002<\/p>\n
