In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Southern University College, the \u201cFoon Yew Village \u00b7 Southern Perseverance\u201d Torch Relay was ignited this morning in front of the Library of Foon Yew High School, Johor Bahru, and arrived at Southern University College at noon, symbolising the unbroken legacy of the Foon Yew Village.<\/div>\n
In 1975, Foon Yew High School established its Advanced Studies; in 1990, it was officially registered as \u201cSouthern College\u201d; in 1996, Southern College relocated to its present campus; and in 2012, it was upgraded to Southern University College. Over fifty years, it has continued to grow and flourish.<\/div>\n
Today\u2019s Torch Relay represents the passing down of the flame of education from generation to generation, illuminating the path forward, and bearing witness to the inseparable bond between Foon Yew and Southern, where the flame never ceases to burn.<\/div>\n

1975\u5e74\uff0c\u5bbd\u67d4\u4e2d\u5b66\u6210\u7acb\u4e13\u79d1\u90e8\uff1b1990\u5e74\uff0c\u4ee5\u201c\u5357\u65b9\u5b66\u9662\u201d\u83b7\u51c6\u6ce8\u518c\uff1b1996\u5e74\uff0c\u5357\u65b9\u5b66\u9662\u6b63\u5f0f\u8fc1\u5165\u73b0\u4eca\u6821\u533a\uff1b2012\u5e74\uff0c\u5357\u65b9\u5347\u683c\u4e3a\u5927\u5b66\u5b66\u9662\uff0c\u5df2\u5386\u7ecf\u4e94\u5341\u8f7d\u3002\u4eca\u5929\u7684\u706b\u70ac\u884c\uff0c\u8c61\u5f81\u6559\u80b2\u85aa\u706b\u4ee3\u4ee3\u76f8\u4f20\uff0c\u7167\u4eae\u524d\u884c\u4e4b\u8def\uff0c\u4e5f\u89c1\u8bc1\u5bbd\u67d4\u4e0e\u5357\u65b9\u8840\u8109\u76f8\u8fde\u3001\u85aa\u706b\u4e0d\u65ad\u3002<\/div>\n
