Seminar Introduction:<\/div>\n
This seminar will introduce the book to readers at Southern University College and facilitate discussions with the audience. It aims to present a brief history of Indians in Malaya\/Malaysia, an introduction to Hinduism, insights into understanding Hindu temples, and the promotion of inter-ethnic communication and mutual appreciation.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Tang Ah Chai (CEO of the Yuansheng Foundation, Veteran Historian and Cultural Researcher)<\/div>\n
Tang Ah Chai is a seasoned local historian and cultural researcher. In his early career, he worked with the United Chinese School Teachers’ Association of Malaysia (Jiao Zong) and the United Chinese School Committees’ Association of Malaysia (Dong Zong) for many years, serving on the editorial and review committee for independent school textbooks. He later joined the Chinese Resource Research Centre, where he held positions including Deputy Research Director, Acting Director, and Director over a decade of service. He also assisted in editing and publishing the Research and Resources Quarterly Journal for many years. From 1998 to 2000, he served as the Youth Chairman of the Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall. Currently, he is the CEO of the Yuansheng Foundation and frequently transitions between roles as a historian, commentator, and writer.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
