The 6-week Micro Learning Short Course, conducted by Ms. Ong Ei Lin, the deputy dean of Faculty of Art & Design (FAD), Southern University College for Junior 1 to Junior 3 students at Foon Yew High School-Kulai, has successfully concluded in early August!
Running from late June to early August, the course introduced students to the end-to-end product design process using Tinkercad and 3D printing technology.
Course Highlights
Over the 6-week program, students experienced a complete maker design process: starting from identifying everyday problems and sketching initial ideas, building paper cardboard mockups to test usability, mastering Tinkercad to create 3D digital models, and finally preparing STL files to see their original concepts transformed into tangible 3D-printed products.
Congratulations to all students who successfully completed the course! Everyone walked away with their very own custom 3D-printed product and valuable hands-on problem-solving experience.

由南方大学学院，艺术与设计学院副院长王依琳高级讲师主讲的微课程，已于 8 月初在宽柔中学古来分校顺利圆满结束！
在从 6 月底至 8 月初为期 6 周的课程中，初中一至初三的同学们一同踏入了产品设计与现代制造的世界。
课程精彩亮点回顾
在这 6 周里，同学们完整体验了一套创客设计流程：从观察生活问题并绘制草图出发，动手制作纸卡模型以测试实用性，接着运用 Tinkercad 软件进行 3D 建模与结构优化，最终导出 STL 文件并亲眼见证自己的想法转化为真实的 3D 打印实体成品。
再次恭喜所有顺利结业的同学们！大家不仅收获了独一无二的 3D 打印作品，更培养了解决问题与动手实践的创客精神！
