Dr. Ngeow Sze Chan Cup Traditional Chinese Medicine Knowledge Competition

Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Honours) Students from Southern University College Achieve Outstanding Results at the Dr. Ngeow Sze Chan Cup Traditional Chinese Medicine Knowledge Competition

From 11 to 12 July 2026, a group of 11 students from the Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Honours) programme at Southern University College, under the guidance of Ms. Lai Mei Wei, travelled to Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Sungai Long Campus, Kuala Lumpur, to participate in the “Dr. Ngeow Sze Chan Cup Traditional Chinese Medicine Knowledge Competition.”

The competition was held to commemorate Dr. Ngeow Sze Chan, a pioneer of TCM in Malaysia, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to TCM education, academic development, and community service. It also aims to uphold his spirit of compassion and dedication as a physician while promoting exchange and development within the TCM community.

In the Senior Division, four students from the Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Honours) advanced to the finals. Among them, the teams represented by Leong Kai Ni, Loo Ming Yoke, and Ong Yi Chiao achieved outstanding results, securing Champion, Third Place, and Fourth Place respectively. Their achievements reflected a strong foundation in TCM knowledge and excellent teamwork skills.

2026年7月11日至12日，南方大学学院中医学荣誉学士课程的11位学生在黎美薇老师的带领下，前往吉隆坡双溪龙拉曼大学参加“饶师泉杯中医知识竞赛”。

此赛事旨在纪念马来西亚中医药先驱饶师泉医师，缅怀其对中医教育、学术发展及社会服务的卓越贡献，并传承其医者仁心的精神，促进中医界的交流与发展。

在高年级组竞赛中，南方大学学院共有四位中医学荣誉学士课程学生晋级决赛。其中，梁恺倪、卢明玉及王芋巧三位同学所在队伍表现优异，分别荣获冠军、季军及殿军，展现了扎实的中医知识基础与良好的团队合作精神。
