Speaker: Dr. Chia Wah Kiam

A distinguished virologist with a PhD in Microbiology and Medical Sciences from the University of Toronto. With decades of experience in virus research and vaccine development, the speaker pioneered the electron microscopic identification of hepatitis B antigens and contributed to Norwalk virus detection and control. The speaker has also conducted extensive research on HIV and platelet disorders, earning international recognition.
