A student from the Faculty of Art and Design has secured a spot as a top 20 finalist in the MIFF 2025 competition.
Congratulations to Choong Kian Rok, an award-winning student from the Diploma in Industrial Design program at the Faculty of Art and Design (FAD), Southern University College, for being selected as one of the top 20 finalists in the Malaysia International Furniture Competition (MIFF). This year, 335 participants from 30 design institutions and private firms took part in the competition. The final round of assessment took place on 10 January 2025 at 9:00 AM at PWTC Kuala Lumpur. The student was mentored by Senior Lecturer, Mr. Mohd Norhan Dulkahar. The results of the competition will be announced later by the organizer. We sincerely hope that the student will continue to excel in the competition and bring another prestigious award to the Faculty of Art and Design at Southern University College.
