Organized by RICEC, SUC, the International Conference & Fieldwork Workshop on “Festivals in Motion: Global Perspectives on Chingay and Street Parade Cultures” was successfully held from August 7th to 9th!
Gathering over 30 local and international scholars and heritage experts, the event fostered vibrant dialogues on Chingay, ICH, and street parade traditions. Featuring bilingual parallel sessions, image exhibitions, documentary screenings, Yi Sing Eng Kor performance, and a KL- Melaka fieldwork excursion, the conference had attracted more than hundred audiences, marked a vibrant milestone in global ICH safeguarding and cross-regional academic exchange!
【圆满落幕！「流动中的节庆」国际学术研讨会暨田野工作坊顺利举行】由南方大学学院中华语言文化学院华人族群与文化研究所主办的「流动中的节庆：全球视野下的妆艺及街头巡游文化」国际学术研讨会暨田野工作坊已于8月7日至9日圆满落幕！
本次盛会汇聚海内外三十余位专家学者与文史工作者，围绕妆艺（Chingay）、非物质文化遗产与民俗巡游展开深度对话。除了双语平行场次的精辟发表，现场更结合了图像展、纪录片放映、义兴英歌舞表演及吉隆坡马六甲田野考察，吸引逾百名听众参与，活动不仅促进了跨区域学术合作，更为全球视野下的非遗保护与传播开启了新篇章！
