Congratulations to our Bachelor in Computer Graphic Design (Honours) students, Teh Wen Ying and Ling Wei Zhi, for completing the “Designing Futures · Shared Vision” International Summer Program at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University in Beijing.
Selected among 16% of global applicants, our students spent two weeks collaborating with peers and mentors from countries including the US, Italy, Brazil, Vietnam, Singapore, China, and the UK.
As part of their hands-on coursework, they worked in cross-cultural teams to design and build a Space Robotic Pet, navigating the full creative process from conceptualization and prototyping to final assembly and presentation.
Beyond technical execution, the program offered them valuable exposure to global design perspectives, structured problem-solving, and international teamwork.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University for providing this learning opportunity, and we wish both students continued growth in their academic and design pursuits.
恭喜本院学生完成清华大学“设计未来·共同愿景”国际暑期项目
恭喜南方大学学院艺术与设计学院的两位电脑绘制荣誉学士同学：戴纹莹与凌𬀩智！从全球众多投稿者中成功抢下仅 16% 的入场券，顺利完成了在北京清华大学美术学院举办的 “设计未来·共同愿景” 国际暑期项目！
在这两周里，他们与来自美国、意大利、巴西、越南、新加坡、中国、英国等地的伙伴共聚一堂。不同的文化背景、不同的思维方式，碰撞出了最激烈的创意火花！
他们的挑战：设计一只太空机器宠物！ 从脑力激荡、方案被推翻、重新调整，到找材料、组装制作与最终发表，过程虽然充满了迷茫与挫折，但团队始终咬牙坚持。当作品最终呈现在导师们的认可与赞赏，所有的汗水都化为了最骄傲的笑容！
这趟旅程带给他们的不仅是技术，更是心境的蜕变： 
理解设计的本质： 好的设计不仅要有想象力，更要有逻辑与灵魂。 收获挚友与视野： 在清华的校园里体验高效的学习氛围，结交了一群超棒的全球好友！衷心感谢清华大学美术学院的给予机会，这段充满意义的夏日记忆，将成为这两位学生未来设计道路上最宝贵的养分！
