Southern University College held its Opening Ceremony for the Second Semester of 2026 on Friday, May 22, welcoming around 400 local and international freshmen into the Southern UC family. During the ceremony, a total of eight scholarships and financial aid awards amounting to approximately RM1,385,300 were presented to outstanding students and those facing financial difficulties. In addition, senior students from Music Seeker (MSK) delivered lively and melodious welcome performances, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
The ceremony was attended by members of the Board of Directors, university management, faculty members, staff, and students. Besides marking the beginning of the new semester, the event also showcased the university’s long-standing efforts and achievements in building a high-quality learning environment and a diverse campus life.
The ceremony concluded successfully in an atmosphere filled with blessings and enthusiasm. Students of the Second Semester 2026 have now officially embarked on a new journey and will begin writing their own new chapter at Southern University College!
南方大学学院于5月22日（五）举办2026年第二学期开学典礼，当天迎来了约400位本地及国际新生加入南院的大家庭。典礼中共颁发8项奖助学金，总额约马币RM1,385,300，予成绩优异及有经济压力的新生；同时，现场还有寻音社学长姐带来动听的歌唱表演，热闹非凡。
本次开学典礼邀请到学校董理事成员、学校领导、教职员及学生共襄盛举，这个仪式不仅为新学期拉开序幕，也向与会者展示了校方多年营造优质学习环境与多元校园生活的努力及成果。
典礼在充满祝福与活力的氛围中圆满结束，2026第二学期的学生现已正式踏上新路程，并将在南方大学学院开启属于他们的未来新篇章！
