MOU Signing Ceremony: Southern University College & Mewah Exim Sdn. Bhd.

Southern University College, through the Faculty of Business and Management (FBM), successfully held its MOU Signing Ceremony with Mewah Exim Sdn. Bhd. on 21 August 2026 at 3.00 p.m., with a special focus on supporting the Diploma in Logistics Management (DLM) programme.

The event began with video presentations introducing Southern UC and the Diploma in Logistics Management (DLM) programme. Official remarks were then delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Renugala, Head of Department and Programme Coordinator, followed by Prof. ChM. Dr. Leong Loong Kong, President of Southern UC, and Mr. Lim Fern Yong, Director of Mewah Exim Sdn. Bhd.

The main highlight of the event was the official signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which aims to strengthen industry–academia collaboration and support the continuous development of the Diploma in Logistics Management (DLM) programme. The collaboration will create opportunities for student development, industry exposure, joint programmes, professional development, research initiatives, graduate employability, and knowledge-sharing activities, further strengthening the connection between academic learning and industry practices.

This MOU marks a meaningful partnership that reinforces FBM’s commitment to enhancing students’ learning experiences, strengthening industry engagement, and developing industry-ready graduates for the logistics and supply chain sector.

活动首先播放南方大学学院及物流管理文凭课程（DLM）的介绍影片。随后，由系主任兼课程主任Asst. Prof. Dr. Renugala致辞，接着由南方大学学院校长Prof. ChM. Dr. Leong Loong Kong以及美华国际有限公司董事Mr. Lim Fern Yong分别致辞。
