On 10th December 2025, the Faculty of Business and Management (FBM) at Southern University College (SUC) has successfully signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Alpine Software Solutions, in a significant move to enhance graduate employability. The ceremony was held at the university campus, formalises a collaborative partnership aimed at directly equipping students with industry-demanded skills.
Spearheaded by the Faculty’s leadership, this initiative is designed to integrate certified practical training on SQL accounting and payroll software directly into the undergraduate curriculum for Accounting and Human Resource students. Crucially, the programme also includes comprehensive training for SUC lecturers, ensuring the sustainable transfer of this cutting-edge, practical knowledge. The partnership is expected to commence in the upcoming semester, with students set to gain a certified competitive edge in the job market.
