Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with OneSystems Technologies Pte Ltd

The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, Southern University College, held a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with OneSystems Technologies Pte Ltd, Singapore, on 07 April 2026. This marks a new milestone in industry-academia collaboration, talent development, academic exchange, and innovation.

The collaboration will cover student industrial training, final-year and capstone projects, joint research and innovation initiatives, industry-related academic activities, as well as professional exchange platforms such as talks, seminars, and workshops. These initiatives aim to provide students with earlier exposure to real industry environments while enhancing their practical skills, professional competencies, and career readiness.

Mr. Mok Chek Hou, Chairman of the BoG of Southern University College, stated that strategic collaboration between universities and industry helps bridge theory and practice, while nurturing future talents who are better aligned with industry and societal needs. Prof. ChM. Dr. Leong Loong Kong, Acting President cum Academic Vice President, also highlighted that education should not be confined to the classroom, but should create more practical learning opportunities for students through close industry engagement.

Ms. Eunice Hong, Chief Executive Officer of OneSystems Technologies Pte Ltd, shared that talent remains at the heart of the information technology and technology sectors. She expressed hope that through this collaboration, students will gain deeper understanding of industry needs and grow into outstanding graduates with professional competence, leadership potential, and a global outlook.
